Actor and Art Collector Cheech Marin Invites Media to Exclusive Preview of Chicano Visions Exhibition at the Museum of Art | Fort Lauderdale

What:
Through the vision, talent and personal art collection of actor Cheech Marin, the Chicano Visions: American Painters on the Verge art exhibition opens in Fort Lauderdale as part of a national tour traveling to major cities throughout the U.S.  Presented by Target and sponsored by the Hewlett-Packard Company, Chicano Visions, curated by René Yañez, features artwork from masters of Chicano painting such as Carlos Almaraz, Patssi Valdez, Carmen Lomas Garza and Margaret García.

Summary:
Chicano Visions, presented by Target and sponsored by Hewlett-Packard, is an art exhibition that showcases traditional artwork that displays the voices of American artists growing up Chicano.
